Seattle Visit
The preamble to a a sudden, sad, incomprehensible loss
As some of you already know, Nicholas Xenos, my husband and partner of almost 52 years, died suddenly on Wednesday, March 12, after a diagnosis the previous Sunday of
acute leukemia. Some of you might only know him from my daily drawing pages. Some of you have known him for years or decades.
I’ve found great solace in drawing these pages and want to share them here, but
to not overwhelm you, I will do them in groups, starting with drawings in early march of days in Seattle visiting with my sister, Nancy and nephew Sean and his family.
Tomorrow, i’ll post another group of drawings and then another.

Dear Lynn, Grateful that you have found solace in your daily drawings.
Grateful too for your willingness to share them with us.
Thank you for sharing these. I’m moved by them. And so sad. Sending love to you across the miles
